Misericordiae Vultus

With his Bull of April 11, 2015, Misericordiae Vultus, Pope France declared an Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy to begin with the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, December 8, 2015. Rooted in the ancient traditions of Israel, the Jubilee is a year of pardon and release from sin. This particular Jubilee intensifies the phenomenon by inviting all the world to reflect upon, receive, and share the grace and mercy of the God of love.
